Evaluation of Online-Based Student Learning Models During PSBB and New Normal Pandemic Covid 19 in Padang in Pioneering Nonformal Education

Abstract


The covid-19 pandemic outbreak has swept the world since the beginning of 2020, where in Indonesia began to plague since March 2020. From the Covid-19 Task Force data, until June 27, 2020 recorded 52,812 cases, 2,720 people died and 21,909 people recovered. The impact of education and employees working Work from home (WFH) at home online. West Sumatra, in particular, Padang has implemented the PSBB since the beginning of April, and starting June 8, 2019, entered the New Normal period. In addition to formal education that runs online, webinars have also developed on various topics related to the covid-19 outbreak by various parties and walks of life that are sharing knowledge for the community today, as part of nonformal education. The purpose of this study is to see the strengths and weaknesses of online formal learning from the view of students in the work from home and new normal times. Simple descriptive research has been carried out through the distribution of Goole-based questionnaires to a number  students universitas in Padang with   randomly to obtain information about problems and readiness of students in online learning. The results of research show online learning is very helpful in the learning process, but 55.6% of respondents feel less effective during the PSBB. After entering the new normal period increased to 55,7%. Complaints that occur are generally related to the number of tasks, the additional cost of buying a credit package 78.6% burdensome. 98.6% of students were worried about covid 19. The learning model expected by students in the PSBB and New Normal periods was in the form of e learning or blended learning above 80%. which is prepared by the institution so as not to burden it. It is also hoped that there will be physical class meetings at least once a month besides online, and lecturers are given training in e learning or blended learning so that online learning can run better
