Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the Community Learning Center (CLC) as one of the government's partners in educating people's lives through nonformal education programs. It is hoped that through PKBM, it is not only able to grow a learning society, but also can improve their abilities and skills in dealing with socio-economic progress through entrepreneurship mentoring activities which are an important policy focus in ensuring the success of PKBM. Facts on the ground show that CLC has not been able to optimally become a community education institution that accommodates entrepreneurship assistance. The entrepreneurship assistance program carried out by PKBM has not been able to facilitate the marketing of PKBM business products widely and is still only local. This study aims to find a model of community entrepreneurship assistance at the Community Learning Center (CLC) through E-commerce marketing. The research model can be used as a reference for PKBM in the implementation of mentoring for entrepreneurship programs for the community. This study aims to find; 1) The factual conditions of people who have businesses but have not marketed them through e-commerce, 2) Barrier and supporting factors for community entrepreneurship, 3) identification of potential entrepreneurial opportunities in CLC, 4) Identification of E-commerce-based entrepreneurial marketing opportunities, 5) creating CLC institutions who are independent through entrepreneurship programs in accordance with the potential of each institution 6) a model of community entrepreneurship assistance at the center of community activities through E-commerce marketing. This study was designed using the Research and Development (R&D) method of research and development. This approach was used to develop and validate a model of community entrepreneurship mentoring at the Community Learning Center (CLC) in West Sumatera. The method used in this study follows the ten stages of R&D developed by Borg, et al. (2007). In this study, the ten stages were modified into eight stages to suit the research context. The stages carried out are research and information collection and the preliminary test stage in the field through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The implementation of entrepreneurship assistance uses a method based on Problem Based Learning. The model found will be disseminated to CLC or areas that have the same characteristics as the research area or subject.
