Abstract


ABSTRACT

Daycare is an organized care facility that is carried out during working hours to take care of children who do not receive complete care from their parents. Daycare is not present as a substitute or a complement to parental care, but as a service that comes along with the times that are able to accommodate the dynamics of life patterns. Options regarding full day-based care designed to help mothers who are busy working all day in line with the development of the phenomenon of the dual role of mothers and how to fulfill learning-based childcare.

This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection in the form of documentation, observation and in-depth interviews. Then the data were analyzed by data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification.

The results of the research are: (1) Parenting services such as playing and learning activities, feeding and feeding, resting and toileting are in accordance with the needs of children. (2) Educational services such as learning and playing activities using learning resources and APE that have been prepared, as well as activities for habituation of an orderly attitude, independence, and good manners. (3) Health services such as examination of ears and nails by caregivers as well as provision of vitamins and dental examinations by the puskesmas. Nutrition services in the form of providing nutritionally balanced food according to the needs of children. (4) Facilities and infrastructure services such as maintenance of activity facilities and learning environments as well as multipurpose rooms that can be used for rest, study and play supported by equipment that supports healthy and clean living behavior.
